‘I can’t believe this is happening in Crawley. Nothing ever happened here. It’s brilliant.’ James, audience member at an event at Unit 79/80 County Mall Shopping Centre, March 2025
Next week is our 5th birthday and ahead of that big moment, we are launching our new business plan 2026 – 2029.
It’s a document that lays out what we care about and what difference we want to make. It’s also a way of sharing how we think we might go about making that difference. Three years is a long time. Things will change. We’ll adapt. Our business plan is a map. We might take a different route but hopefully we’ll get where we want to go.
In the images on this page, you can get a sense of our journey to 2029, the programme strands and our four pillars that will guide the work we do.

You’ll also see the brilliant illustrations of our values by Luis McLellan.
BOLD, THOUGHTFUL, KIND and COMMITTED
Finally, you’ll see we have some Golden Threads running through everything we do.
You can read a Summary document (13 pages) and the full Business Plan (38 pages) on our website HERE.
Have a read, we hope you find something that sparks your interest.
Thanks to everyone who has helped make this business plan come alive. To John Nicholls at Arts Quarter, Holly & Hannah from Culture Change Works and the Creative Crawley staff team and Trustees, thanks for your inspiration and guidance. Thanks to Ben Lintott, Sam McAuley and Paul at Makes Three for design skills and Luis McLellan for the illustrations.
Finally, thank you to our long term funders. Arts Council England have been supporters from the beginning and we are delighted to announce that we have just secured a year long partnership with Garfield Weston Foundation to support our core costs.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family founded grant-maker supporting charities operating in a wide variety of sectors across the UK that make a positive difference within their communities.
Arts Council England is your national development agency for creativity & culture. They are proud to award funds from DCMS and The National Lottery.
