We are inviting ten local* Crawley people to watch a theatre play called A Citizens’ Assembly by Andy Smith, at Camden People’s Theatre in London.
We will travel to London together from Crawley, watch the theatre play and talk about what we experienced on the train journey back to Crawley.
About the play
We are the citizens! This is our assembly! We are the actors in this story!
What are we doing about the climate emergency? What are we not doing? What more could we be doing? What more should we be doing?
A Citizens’ Assembly is a new work by acclaimed theatre maker Andy Smith created in collaboration with applied arts practitioner Lynsey O’Sullivan. Part of a series of works called Plays For The People – plays written to be performed by the people in the room.

Is this trip suitable for children?
This trip is suitable for ages 12+, people aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend reading the event on the websites above to determine if it might be a good fit.
Does the venue have step-free access?
Yes, the venue has step-free access. Once your place is confirmed, there will be an opportunity to let us know your access requirements and any other important information that the team should know about you for the trip.
Will there be an opportunity to eat?
As the play is in the evening, we recommend having tea before the trip. We will provide snacks. Once your place is confirmed, you will have an opportunity to let us know about any allergies and/or dietary requirements.
How will we get there?
We will travel on the train from Crawley to London and on the tube to Camden and there will be max. 15 minutes of walking.
