About African Night Fever
African Night Fever brings the joyous sounds of West Africa with a special celebration of the sounds of OSIBISA with Greg Kofi Brown and friends.
From Highlife, Afro pop, Afrobeat to palm wine music all under one roof for a musical passage across the shores of Africa.
Greg Kofi Brown is best known for his long-standing collaborations as front man singer/songwriter and producer for afrobeat legends Osibisa, jazz fusion drumming icon Billy Cobham and jazz guitar wizard Stanley Jordan. A singer, songwriter and guitarist, Gregg Kofi Brown has recorded with Brit Pop stars Des’ree, Gabrielle, and Sting. He has recently recorded soul afrobeat remixes with Grammy award winning DJ Louie Vega, DJ Paleface (Drake-One Dance) and an edgy afro-swing track co-written with Ed Sheeran.
Come ready to swing to the explosive rhythms and melodies full of joy and happiness, and enjoy the delicious African Caribbean cuisine on sale from the Soul Food Sisters.
Everyone is welcome.
