The Core Consortium are the governing body for the Creative Playground project. They are like a board, meeting quarterly to give strategic direction and financial oversight. They are representatives from a range of local organisations and give their time for free.

From 2026 – 2029 Creative Crawley is the lead organisation and accountable body for the project. Dave Watmore is the Independent Chair. Other consortium members are Crawley Community Action, Freeshop Crawley, Crawley Community Youth Service, Manor Royal BID and County Mall Shopping Centre.
