Back by popular demand we are pleased to welcome Izzy back to Crawley to present a foraging walk around West Green. We’ll be getting to know the local flora.
Explore a series of different plant species in turn and discuss how to identify them, which ones are edible, which are toxic, and how to tell them apart. There’ll also be space to talk about recipes, plant history, folklore, bushcraft, traditional herbal medicines and more.
Rights For Weeds is a project that arose as a way to celebrate nature’s most unloved and often most powerful plants. Using a mix of foraging, folklore, bushcraft and the arts, Rights For Weeds aims to unite the people and plants that make up the urban ecosystem.
