Launching last October 2024, the Woodzy & Friends series are monthly events celebrating and showcasing local creative talent in West Sussex and Surrey. Hosted by spoken word artist and rapper Woodzy, the events are an informal and sociable space where you can meet and mingle with local creatives and experience something new. You might hear someone speak about their latest fashion design or photography, listen to a local band or see a piece of theatre in development.
So far we’ve experienced a varied line up of soulful compositions, living textiles, spontaneous photography and eco ‘filmpoems’, all from local creatives.
This season we’re breaking out into a new space where local artists will be joined by national creatives to inspire conversation and share ideas. The lineup of guest artists will be announced closer to the event so watch this space.
